Questions before you try BlockBusters

What it costs, what you need, how to test it and what happens to your world.

Answers

Can I try BlockBusters without chat paying anything?

Yes. Your dashboard has a test button next to each effect. It plays the effect in your live game with no charge, never adds blocks and never counts on a goal, so you can see exactly what viewers will trigger.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing up front. The mod is free, setup is free and there is no subscription. When a viewer's payment sets off an effect, Landmark keeps 20% and you keep 80%. A plain card tip carries a 0% Landmark fee, with Stripe's card fee on top.

What will I need?

A Windows PC, Minecraft Java Edition and a channel on Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok or Rumble. Landmark Desktop installs the mod, the Fabric loader and Fabric API, then starts Minecraft with a MineControl profile and leaves your other launcher profiles alone.

Which Minecraft version does it support?

Minecraft Java 26.2 with the Fabric loader. Bedrock, consoles, Mac, Linux and other loaders are not supported.

Will it work on my server?

No. Effects play in a single-player world on your own PC through the game's built-in server. It is a client mod and not a plugin for multiplayer servers.

Is it safe for my world?

Some effects change the world for good. A Nuke makes a crater and a Tsunami floods the area and lingers. You pick which effects are on, you can pause any of them and every price is yours to change.

How do viewers set off effects?

They cheer Bits on Twitch, gift Kicks, gift subs, send Rumble Rants or send YouTube Super Chats. They can also spend Landmark Coins on your Landmark page. Bits depend on your Twitch status, and coins work for everyone.

What happens to the goal over time?

Each payment adds blocks at your rate, which is one block per cent by default and can be set from 1 to 10 cents. You keep mining and the goal keeps moving until you catch it. Runs go on for days of play.

When does the money arrive?

Coin payments credit your wallet the moment the effect fires. Bits, Kicks, Super Chats and other platform money are paid to you by the platform, and Landmark bills its 20% of those later. Stripe pays out to your bank.
